We are a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated physiotherapists with a mission to promote optimum wellbeing through quality physiotherapy services in a modern, private and welcoming environment.

With our one on one treatments, patients receive education, self management strategies and exercise programmes, which complement our hands-on therapy skills. However, we tailor our treatment programmes for each client’s needs.
Massey Physiotherapy Established in 1985
Massey Physiotherapy was certified in 1989, is an ACC registered and HDANZ Accredited Health provider. This is to ensure we comply with the Allied Health Sector standards for client care and clinic management.
Massey Physiotherapy was established in 1985 in West Auckland and has been providing outstanding physiotherapy services to the local community ever since. We are renowned for our experience and long-standing reputation as reliable and trusted physiotherapists.
We are proud of our strong history and take pride in treating clients locally and from the wider Auckland area.
Maureen Betts established the clinic and Elizabeth Costabeber later joined Maureen as a business partner in 2018. So be rest-assured, you are in safe hands when you visit us at Massey Physiotherapy.

Elizabeth (Liz) joined Maureen at Massey Physiotherapy as a physiotherapist in 2016 and became proud co-owner of the clinic in 2018.
Liz has worked in a variety of physiotherapy settings in New Zealand and Australia spanning across hospital, acute rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, private practice and sports settings.
Her special interests lie in pain management, concussion, lymphoedema management, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sport and work place injuries.
Liz has a practical hands-on approach with her clients, with an emphasis on goal setting and achieving sustained long-term results.
With her friendly and approachable manner, accurate assessment and treatment, clients receive profound results and are guaranteed a positive experience when visiting Liz.
Seeing progress in her clients throughout their recovery and assisting them to return to a pain free function as soon as possible so they can start enjoying their life again, is why she loves doing what she does.
Caleb McCollum

STUDYING A POST GRADUATE CERT IN REHABILITATION – AUT

Caleb joined Liz at Massey Physiotherapy as a Physiotherapist in 2023.
Caleb has worked in the United Kingdom (UK) and New Zealand gaining physio experience in the hospital, orthopaedic and vocational rehabilitation settings. His love for sport saw him work alongside the Scottish Institute of Sport, Scottish Senior Women’s Rugby team and other sports teams as the main physiotherapist for a number of years.
Since coming to NZ in 2019, his passion for orthopaedic rehabilitation, musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports has grown. His years training as a professional Olympic weightlifting athlete and CrossFitter has seen him deal with shoulders, knees, hips and back injuries. He has a keen interest in pre and post rehabilitation supplemented with a mix of manual therapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation.
Caleb‘s wealth of knowledge and gentle manner will ensure that each client gains an accurate diagnosis, identifies the right rehabilitation plan, leads them back to pre-injury health and most importantly becomes pain free. You are guaranteed to come out feeling better and more positive after your sessions.
Aimee Dobson

Aimee is a local West Harbour resident. She graduated from AUT University in 2008 and joined Massey Physiotherapy in 2023 as a physiotherapist.
She has primarily worked with musculoskeletal clients in a private practice setting, is a certified McKenzie Therapist and is trained in clinical Pilates. She is passionate about the spine, posture and post-natal rehabilitation, and believes strongly in empowering clients with advice and exercise to promote independence and prevent future injury.
Aimee has been involved in a wide range of sports, including swimming at national level, water polo, netball, and more recently kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and is familiar with sporting injuries as a result.
Outside of the clinic she is studying Architectural Technology and spends her weekends with her husband and two young children.

Naomi has gained Physiotherapy experience in the hospital working with acute cardiorespiratory patients, older people in long-term rehabilitation, acute stroke and rehab, and private practice musculoskeletal settings.
Naomi has a practical, hands-on approach with manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription and education to achieve long-term results.
With her warm manner and drive for accurate assessment and treatment, clients are guaranteed a positive physiotherapy experience with Naomi.
She is passionate about finding the root cause of pain and getting clients back to full health as soon as possible. Assisting patients through their rehab journey and empowering them to smash their goals is why Naomi loves being a physiotherapist.
Outside of the clinic, Naomi enjoys going to the gym and doing group fitness classes. She loves the beach and going on hikes with her partner and friends.
